The Three Festivals of Spring
A CELEBRATION OF LIGHT
There are three major festivals on this planet, which form the
spiritual high point of the year. These occur in the spring. The first
is the Festival of the Risen Son (Sun) or Easter, which is celebrated
at the Aries full moon in the western hemisphere. The second is the
Festival of the Wesak, or of the Buddha, and is celebrated at the Taurus
full moon in the eastern hemisphere. The third is the Festival of
Goodwill, which occurs at the Gemini full moon and celebrates the spirit
of humanity, which is dedicated to right human relations and aligns
itself with the will of God. These three festivals can be a means of
achieving a great spiritual unity throughout the planet.
There are three festivals that occur every year in the spring that form
the spiritual high point of the year. Together these are called the
Celebration of Light.
The first is The Easter Festival,
The Festival of The Risen One.
The forces of Restoration are particularly active during the time of
the full moon in April. These forces emanate from the MIND of God,
stimulating the human intellect. This energy carries the life which
produces the birth of forms. It is a mass energy related to the
stimulation of the mass intelligence. It causes humanity to think, plan
and take action, producing neither good nor bad results but simply the
awakening of our minds so we will take intelligent action.
The Buddha’s Blessing during the Wesak full moon in May.
‘The Buddhist Celebration Wesak’ is the expression of the
Wisdom of God, the embodiment of Light and the indicator of divine
purpose coming through the Buddha, cooperating at the festival with his
brother the Christ. The Buddha embodies the Principle of Light and
because of this illumination humanity was able to recognize the Christ,
embodiment of the still greater Principle of Love.
Each year at the time of Wesak full moon, two great streams of energy;
one focused through the Buddha and the other through the Christ are
fused and blended. It is the task of world servers to precipitate this
combined energy into the waiting world.
In mutual service to humanity; at Wesak the Buddha and the Christ bring
about a linking that blends East and West, uniting the world’s major
religions in a shared holy day. The beautiful water ceremony of
communion portrays the symbol of the new age, the Aquarian Age.
The focused interplay of many minds working together in meditation
produces a unity of thought powerful enough to reach the Great Lives
watching over and guiding our planet. The greater number of people who
meditate at this time; the stronger the magnetic field of the group
Heart. It is up to each of us to attune with ever greater clarity to
the note being sounded; to quiet the mind and transmute individual
desires into desire for the greatest good of all during the Wesak moon.
The third is The Festival of Goodwill
during the full moon in June.
The Hierarchy guided by The Christ showers the Will-to-Good upon
Planet Earth. During the Wesak ceremony The Buddha became the absorber
of Will. He uses the magnetic power of Love to attract this force and
hold it steady, prior to redirecting it. The Christ acting as receiver
of the potent energy becomes the director of this force.
The energies of power, love and wisdom which arose during the first two
spring festival full moons are focused and utilized for humanity. The
Forces of Reconstruction are active and are related to the Will aspect
of Divinity.
FORCES ACTIVE NOW AT GOODWILL
Those participating in these three festivals report a building of
energy. The energies of power, love and wisdom accumulated at the first
two celebrations are focused and utilized for expression at the third
festival. This is the festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring
towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God, and dedicated to
the expression of right human relations.
The forces of Reconstruction are active now, and greatly affect the
nations of the world. These energies can increase the aspect of
national life or they can increase the potency of world unity, peace and
progress. This is a festival of deep invocation, and an appeal for a
basic aspiration toward kinship. It is a time of human and spiritual
unity. The Will-to-Synthesize is present now.
